Q. Does De-Junk offer same day service?
A. De-Junk offers same day and next day junk and debris removal. There's no need to wait days or even weeks, just call us today and we'll work around "your" schedule!
Q. Do I have to be at home when the work is done? Do I have to be present at the site during the work?
A.We realize that people have busy schedules due to work, kids, vacation, alien abductions, etc. We will be more than happy to haul away your junk without you being present. All of our employees are trustworthy individuals who have passed thorough background checks. Generally speaking with your consent we can go to the property, our crew can do the work. Our goal is to ensure we do not use any more of your time than absolutely necessary. However, we would like someone to meet us at the time of the estimate unless the items are clearly indicated. Payment is due upon completion of the job. If you are unable to meet us for the estimate, we will not proceed with the job until the estimate is approved.
Q. My lazy husband won't stop watching sports and help with the house work. What can you do?
A. Our Husband Improvement Program (HIP) is currently under development and will train husbands to do their share of the house work and keep you happy!
Q. Will De-Junk pickup only one item?
A. Absolutely, We will remove single items or multiple loads.
Q. Is De-junk Licensed and Insured?
A. We conduct our business by all federal and state requirements.
Q. What type of payment does De-Junk accept?
A. At this time we accept VISA, MasterCard, Amex, personal or business checks, & good old fashion Cash.
Q. Will De-Junk offer after hour, Sunday or Holiday service?
A. We will do our best to accommodate all requests, if you are in need of last minute pickups or cleanups give us a call we’ll be happy to help.
Q. Why should I choose De-Junk?

Q. Why can’t De-Junk dispose of Hazardous Waste or Chemicals?
A. Legally, we are unable to carry Hazardous material in our trucks. Please contact your local City Recycling Center for assistance in disposing of these materials.
Q: Do you recycle or donate any items you pick up?
A: Absolutely!! We donate anything that we can to local charities; we also recycle as much as possible.
Q. Who is De-junk
A. De-Junk is a residential and commercial professional junk removal service for the Western North Carolina area, primarily Hickory and the surrounding Counties/Communities.
Q. What can you haul and what can't you haul?
A. We can haul away almost anything. We can't haul away hazardous materials. For a better idea see our what we do for you page. Go to What and Where Page for more information. Q. Are you insured?
A. Absolutely.
Q. What do you charge for a job?
A. Our rates are based on how much room the junk takes up in one our trucks. Where it is, and how long it will take to get it all loaded & cleaned up. Since this is the case we will only be able to provide an estimate based on your description of the junk when you schedule an appointment. Our rates include all disposal fees we might incur to safely dispose of your junk.
We will give you an estimate after looking at your items. Many different variables are used to determine the price. For example: site location, location of the items, type and volume of material all determine pricing. We are unable to give you a quote over the phone or the Internet for this reason.
Q. What services do you offer?
A. Professional residential, and commercial junk removal. We do all the loading and clean-up. Refer to the What we do for you page for more information.
Q. Do you have additional charges?
A. Depending on the item(s) certain additional charges may apply. An example would be very heavy items or ones that are hard to get to. If this is the case for your job, we'll inform you up front before we begin.
Q. Who do you offer services to?

Q. Do I need to schedule in advance?
A. We try to get to everyone as soon as possible. Depending on demand for a certain day, scheduling a job a day or two in advance is always a good idea.
Q. How quickly can you take my junk?
A. We do our best to provide same day service. However, it may be next day service depending upon work load.
Q. What do you do with the items?
A. As a first option we try to recycle or donate every item we pickup. Only as a last resort will we take items to a local landfill.
Q. What size trucks do you have?
A. We have trucks of various sizes to accommodate any size job.
